Entangled Encryptions 2, a unique multi-color woodblock print by Merrill Shatzman, professor of the practice of visual arts, has been selected for inclusion in the Hida-Takayama Contemporary Woodblock-Prints Triennale 2017 Japan. Shatzman is one of two American printmakers represented in the group of twenty artists included in the Triennale from different countries. Her woodblock print is part of the fifty-nine works that will be displayed in the exhibition’s two venues, The Takayama Cultural Hall and the Hida Takayama Musuem of History and Art, from June 18- July 17, 2017.
