Wired! New Representational Technologies


Research and study in material culture and the visual arts expressed by using new visual technologies to record and communicate complex sets of visual and physical data from urban and/or archaeological sites. Introduces techniques for the presentation and interpretation of visual material through a series of interpretative and reconstructive technologies, including the development of webpages (HTML/Dreamweaver), Photoshop, Illustrator, Google Sketch-up, Google Maps, and Flash. To develop techniques of interpretation and representation. Consent of instructor required. One course.
