Danielle Mayes

Intern, Creative Agency

BA, 2017 – Visual & Media Studies

Danielle’s work is nearly always laced with social or political commentary. During her last semester at Duke, she worked to produce her final capstone project entitled Whyt Noyz. Whyt Noyz is a compilation of black and white photographic images focusing on the narrative experiences of Black people in the United States, which uses thematic emotional elements including fear and love. After graduation, Danielle aspires to publish her work, continuing to explore film photography and develop her style as an artist in her new hometown of Dallas, TX. There, alongside her fiance, she will be working as an Art Director Intern for a small creative agency.
