How has being an AAHVS graduate from Duke helped shape your professional success?
My degree in Art History has been very beneficial. Many of my private banking clients have art collections and are passionate about art and I can connect with them around this shared interest. I also frequently provide lines of credit to my clients using their art collections as collateral. This allows me to view their art collections and continue my connection to art.
What advice would you give students in AAHVS?
I would supplement an art history degree with an economics or quantitative degree.
