Spring 2021 - Instructor: Bill Fick - ArtsVis 290S - Special Topics in Visual Arts: Poster Design and Printing
This course will explore poster design strategies throughout history with a focus on 20th-Century and contemporary methods. Students will produce a series of unique screen-printed posters that address issues and topics that engage the current conversation around racial equity, social justice, and the environment. The class will work directly with internationally recognized artist Carl Pope, who will be a virtual visiting artist at Duke during the Spring semester.
