Moving Image Practice

Moving Image Practice introduces students to digital filmmaking through hands-on production and the critical study of moving image art. The course combines screenings, readings, and writing with workshops and digital filmmaking exercises to explore the fundamentals of sound, cinematography, lighting, and non-linear editing. Emphasis is placed on historical and theoretical contexts while supporting the development of each student's individual creative voice. No prior experience is required.
