Ziwen Liu (1999, China) is a multimedia artist working as a filmmaker, photographer, and installation artist. She is currently engaged in the research and creation of digital art and generative media. Ziwen's work consistently revolves around the theme of "relationships."
In the context of traditional media, she has used documentary and narrative films to explore and express familial relationships and bonds. Through photography and experimental films, she visually connects the human body and the plant body, experimenting with the relationship between humanity and nature.
In digital art, Ziwen creates generative systems for interactive video playback using software. By embracing randomness and disorder, she seeks to discard and replace the presence of the "self" as the author. This approach challenges the artist's logic, uncovering the aesthetic of unordered relationships between fragments and images.
