2015

Seven prints by Merrill Shatzman are included in the Biennale Internationale d’estampe Contemporaine de Trois-Rivieres from June 21- September 6, 2015.  The International Biennial of contemporary printmaking from Trois-Rivieres is held every two years since 1999.  Its mandate is to promote contemporary print and report on current trends of this artistic discipline worldwide.  This exhibition, the largest in Canada, is dedicated to printmaking and will be located in four venues in Quebec (Ancienne gare ferroviare, Centre d’exposition Raymond-Lasnier, Galerie d’art du Parc and Musee Pierre-Boucher).  Prints included in the show are grouped by theme in each exhibition space.

Shatzman’s color woodblock prints from her Tilatopia series will be shown with works of 56 artists from 25 countries, eight of who are American.
