Wired!

Wired! (http://www.dukewired.org/) is an autochthonous faculty-created group Digital Humanities initiative that integrates visualization technology with the study of the man-made world, from works of art to buildings and cities. We offer workshops and courses, creating learning communities that can engage students from freshman year onwards in vertically-integrated learning experiences. We exist in order to create the opportunity for students to become part of long-term research groups; some of these involve travel and study abroad, either as part of a semester study abroad experience, or in funded travel with the faculty advisor and graduate students.
