Unloading Silver Bricks by Dani Smith

Projected is a poetry map: an exploration of a physical space and the memories that reside there. These images represent a complicated nature of these spaces, and what my recent separation from this land reveals. Distance makes clear that land changes over time, just as people change. Now the only access to the past is memories, or at least the visual documents that have come to represent both memory and history. This projection is my personal Ground Truth: a subjective mapping of data - stories of the land - a private frontier.

Reception 4pm-5pm, Thursday November 8, 2018
